Who’s that? The German Shepherd stands in the middle of the farmyard with her ears pricked. There was a noise that doesn’t belong here. What was it?

The alert dog listens carefully and stretches her neck so she doesn’t miss a thing. She knows the farm inside and out and can tell when something is wrong. She is unmatched as a herding dog. She is vigilant yet gentle with her favourite people, making sure everyone feels safe.

Her puppy is never far away and carefully watches everything his mother does. Maybe today he’ll get to go on patrol?

The light green budgerigar with the yellow head may be small, but its cheerful chirping can be heard from afar.

The little bird is very curious and keeps a close eye on everything happening around it. It comments on everything with its beeps.

Budgerigars are true songbirds and can also imitate many sounds.

This friendly bird always puts everyone in a good mood with its singing talent. No wonder people want it as a pet companion.

The Highland Bull from FARM WORLD has a long, warm coat. It is so thick and wooly that even icy cold doesn’t bother him. That’s why he can stay outside all year round. The bulls are easy to distinguish from the cows – the horns of males are bent forward almost horizontally. The horns of females are significantly longer and curve upwards.

Who is taking a relaxed stroll across the meadow? A long neck, super thick fur, and a distinctive hairstyle on its small head – it’s clearly the alpaca!

As soon as it spots its favorite human, it comes trotting over. It enjoys company and quite rightly hopes for treats and cuddles. With its fluffy coat, it’s almost guaranteed to get them – who could resist?

It also needs its thick fur, as it originally comes from the high mountain regions of South America. But it also feels right at home with Farmer Paul. The treats are definitely better here!

Ages 3+.

Turkeys are part of the pheasant family and are originally from North America. The male birds have black plumage with individual metallic shimmering colourful feathers. The head and neck are featherless and coloured bright red and light blue. When male turkeys compete for females during mating season they spread their tail feathers out like a fan, as shown by the turkey from the FARM WORLD.

The beautiful spots on the face and body of the American Shorthair Cat from the FARM WORLD show how varied and exciting the coat pattern of this cat breed can be. The animals have a wonderfully affectionate and gentle nature, which almost always puts them in the top 10 most popular cat breeds. American Shorthair Cats are also very intelligent. For example, they enjoy puzzles.

The cute Bichon Frisé has what it takes to be a regal salon lion with its thick curly mane. But it also likes to romp across the meadow and chase balls. You can’t help loving this cute cotton ball on four legs. Especially when it happily curls up on your lap to enjoy a few cuddles. Who wouldn’t want to snuggle with this curly bundle of fun?

Bulls have been the symbol of Spain for centuries. They can weigh well over 1,000 kg and are extremely strong. Before a bull attacks, it displays warning behaviours. It shows itself from the side so that it looks bigger, tosses its head back and forth, scrapes the ground with its front hoof and bellows.

Omdat ze zo goed van vertrouwen is, geven haar lievelingsmensen haar af en toe een traktatie. De vriendelijke kip vindt het heerlijk om geaaid te worden. Haar dichte, pluizige verenkleed is gewoon uitnodigend.

Calves are born around once a year. It’s very important they drink their mother’s milk within the first few hours. This is a special yellowish liquid known as colostrum that cannot be drunk by humans. It contains numerous antibodies that help the calf to resist diseases. After around five days, the calf will have had enough colostrum and will then drink normal cow’s milk for around ten months until it can nourish itself exclusively from grass and other plants.

Who’s the best hopper? Our Long-eared Rabbit from FARM WORLD, of course. Its strong hind legs mean that it hops over your desk faster than anyone else – despite its long floppy ears. These let the rabbit hear particularly well. Especially when his favorite songs are playing on the radio again. Then he gets a dreamy look in his eyes as he wishes that his ears could not only hear well but also help him fly. He’s vegetarian and only uses his strong rabbit teeth for carrots, grains or grass. And laces that are too long.

Cats use their long facial whiskers to measure gaps. They use them to find out whether they fit through an opening or are too big or fat for it. The older a cat is, the longer its whiskers, as it becomes less mobile with age

Chaos in the barn! The three chicken friends from the FARM WORLD really make a mess around your farm. Whether it's pilfering something from the harvest, painting the sleeping rooster or mixing up your color-coded crayons – the three feathered friends are always up to no good. And as a well-coordinated team, they usually get away with it. And that makes them laugh, fluffing up their feathers and dancing across the meadow. Thanks to their different colored feathers, however, you can always tell them apart. Can you figure out which of the three is the worst troublemaker?

Pintos have unique, beautiful fur drawings that give the horses more personality. Nevertheless, the Pintos do not form a separate breed. They are a colour breed, which is found in almost all breeds. The coat patterns are different in "Overo" and "Tobiano". Overos have a coloured coat with white piebald. Their head is often completely white. It's a so-called "lantern". Tobianos on the other hand, have a white coat with coloured piebald. Legs and back remain mostly white.

The animals in the forest are happy as can be, because they can always find something to eat in the feeding trough. There's something for everyone: the Red Deer Doe and her calf are happy about the food pellets, but they both also enjoy crunchy carrots. The shy hedgehog also likes to come by. The squirrel slips curiously through the feed hatch into the manger. Maybe it will find a nut? In any case, it has found a cozy hiding place under the roof. Up there, it can also see the forest farmer coming along in his car (playset sold separately).

The Playful Foal from HORSE CLUB includes a play ball that has been specially developed for horses. It has a grip that the Quarter horse foal can hold onto with its teeth. During play the foal mistakes the cute little hedgehog for the ball, but quickly realizes how spikey it is! Luckily neither is hurt in this funny encounter and the two become friends. After frolicking around, the foal drinks from the nursing bottle and has a warm blanket laid over it so that it doesn’t get cold.

In the veterinary practice from the FARM WORLD all the animal patients are lovingly treated and nursed back to health. The vet makes sure of it. She always has the right equipment ready. With the help of the X-ray image hanging on the wall, the vet can treat her patients on the examination table and quickly takes the right medication out of her doctor's case. She can also check the weight of the rabbits using her scale, and they recover quickly out on the field. Then it’s time for the next patient!
