The Giganotosaurus looks very similar to the T-rex

Nobody knows exactly where the pretty unicorn foal Iris comes from. There are many legends about her origins. Does the unicorn mare Peach have anything to do with this? Some believe that the foal was born from the heart of a flower on the enchanted flower meadow. With her delicate shape, purple fur and flower tattoo on her side, this could be true. Incidentally, Iris owes the beautiful fur colour to the schleich® fans, who were given the chance to vote. A good choice! Does Iris really carry the magic of nature inside her? When the foal looks on with her shiny black eyes, she is definitely enchanting.

Clydesdales grow more slowly than other horse breeds. The foals aren’t fully grown until the age of seven or eight, instead of four or five. They then weigh over 1,000 kg – as much as a small car. They are so strong that they can pull objects that are much heavier than themselves. This also means they need a lot of food and water. Every day, they need 20–25 kg of grain with minerals and vitamins, and around 50–60 kg hay. Needless to say, this makes them thirsty – very thirsty, in fact. Clydesdales drink over 100 litres of water per day.

Baby elephants are still quite clumsy after their birth and must first learn how to handle their trunks. They are still not able to feed themselves with it, so suckle from their mothers for the first year. In the process they gain a good kilo in weight each day. It is very important that they grow big quickly, because a lion or crocodile can hardly cause any harm to healthy, adult animals. If a predator does come dangerously close, the adults form a circle around the young. They are well protected in the middle.

Uu uu aa aa is the call our Mandrill from WILD LIFE makes every Sunday while dancing with its monkey friends. It is good friends with the Baboon and is generally happy to share. But the Mandrill has one thing over its friends: It is the world’s most colorful mammal. It really is eye-catching and almost looks like it could paint pictures with its face instead of a brush. You’ll have to ask if that’s true.
