Schleich - pagina 14

Braunvieh cows are a domestic cattle breed that originated in Switzerland. They have been reared in the Alpine region for many centuries. Braunvieh cattle normally have single-coloured brown or grey coats, beautifully intermingled with different shades, and a black muzzle ringed with lighter fur. Although they are very muscular, their appearance is refined and graceful.

Besides walruses and sea lions, the various types of seals include, of course, common seals. They don't spend much time on land, and usually swim in the icy waters of the North Atlantic and the Arctic Ocean. While hunting for fish and shellfish, common seals dive 200 m deep and can hold their breath for up to 30 minutes.

Tarantulas are among the largest spiders in the world.

The black Animagus looks impressive with its strong teeth. But it looks almost harmless compared to the terrifying werewolf. The werewolf is so skinny that every bone sticks out like a skeleton. The greyish skin stretches over it. It stares meanly at the Animagus and opens its huge mouth. It shows its sharp fangs and lets out a bloodcurdling snarl. Is there about to be a fight? Let's get out of here!

The Hyacinth Macaw skillfully clings on to the bark of the tree. With its powerful claws and the help of its beak, the parrot climbs up the tree trunk in no time at all. I wonder where it's going? Ah, it's spotted some delicious nuts hanging up high in the tree! One of its favorite dishes! The beautiful Hyacinth Macaw has bright blue plumage with golden yellow skin around its beak and eyes. It contrasts beautifully with the iridescent plumage!

The Wire-Haired Dachshund raises its cute tousled head with its distinctive moustache. It watches your every move and knows when you are about to leave the house. Going out? It's right there with you! This little whirlwind is very lively and always up for an adventure. It gets especially excited when there is a wild animal in the forest to be sniffed out. That's when its hunting instinct kicks in. It isn't even afraid of going into deep holes. Although it has short legs, it can dig holes like a champ. Before you know it, its long little body has completely disappeared!

No wonder the Appaloosa mare and her foal feel so comfortable in the horse box: It’s so cozy here and they have everything their hearts desire. Their feed is in the hayrack and soft horse blankets are also ready to be put under the saddle. While mare and foal drink a little water from the trough, the cat keeps them company. She has made herself cozy on the bale of straw. But she’s not interested in the carrot, which the horse is allowed to nibble on. Maybe they’ll both go out to the paddock to have some fun together.

Hahaaaaaa! Behoorlijk vals.

Any moment now, the otter will jump back into the water to hunt for fresh fish. It loves fresh fish more than anything. It’s such a good swimmer that it catches its prey effortlessly. The otter’s thick oily pelt protects it from the cold in the water – the water simply runs off. I’m pretty sure it also wants to try out your bathtub!

The thick, scaly skin of the baby armored rhinoceros already looks a lot like its parents. But it doesn’t have a horn yet. That’s a good thing, actually, because otherwise it would poke its mother in the belly when it nurses. Do you think it might be hungry, the way it raises its head? No wonder: it drinks up to 30 liters of milk a day! Maybe there’s some more milk in the fridge?

The Elementa Water Unicorn mare has beautiful, dark eyes and looks at you in a kind and friendly way as she starts to trot gracefully away. Where is she going? The pretty horn on her forehead peeks out from behind the dense fringe. A small starfish keeps the mane from getting in her eyes. Lots of glitter and a few shimmering lumps of foam have gotten caught up in her luscious blue mane. Did she gallop straight out of the sea? Her beautiful tail is certainly as lush as a thundering waterfall.

Leaning forward on her arms, the gorilla mom stands by her little ones and watches carefully to make sure they are safe. One of the baby gorillas is probably still a bit tired. It sits on the ground gazing around sleepily. Maybe it’s time for a little nap. Its sibling is much more active: trying to stand, crawling on all fours through the jungle and even climbing onto its mother’s back. There are so many different games to play with this lifelike lowland gorilla family. Maybe the cute babies will grow up to be big gorillas in your playroom someday?

Watch out, it's a trap!!! Too late, the triceratops has already stomped right into it. But luckily the Dinosaur Truck Mission from DINOSAURS is on the scene faster than you can say "Dinosaur Truck Mission". Thanks to the sharp machete, the truck driver can free the ancient saurian from the net within seconds. But wait, the patient twisted his leg during the rescue mission and can't just go stomping off into the forest again. Luckily someone has a plan B – the B stands for brilliant: The Styracosaurus needs to be lifted onto the truck immediately with the crane. Phew, pretty heavy. But it works! The dinosaur arrives safely at the reserve so he can convalesce in peace. In two weeks, the prehistoric giant will be released back into the wild (or your playroom?) as good as new. Which is his favorite place to be. As long as there are no more nets lurking around!

The sweet Llama unicorn foal is lucky because it was born in BAYALA. It can wander over the multi-colored flower meadows with its mother and other magical animals and go on exciting adventures in the beautiful world of BAYALA. It loves to proudly show the glitter blossoms in its hair. Aren’t they beautiful? Glitter is even all over the hooves, coat and legs. Where has the Llama Unicorn foal been jumping around this time? The glitter looks so adorable!

Cats have an extraordinary sense of balance. And even if they should fall, they hardly get hurt. It is even said that they always land on their feet. And it is true: If they fall back first, they first turn the head and front legs towards the floor, then the spine and then back legs. By stretching the legs and spreading their paws, they stop the fall additionally - like a parachute. With this ability, they can absorb almost any impact gently.
