MACROSS -Shooting Insight- is an all-new MACROSS game, the latest installment in the groundbreaking science fiction franchise! When multiple dimensional rifts suddenly appear across space-time, pilots and singers alike are inexplicably transported to Battle 7! From there, six stories unfold with the fate of the galaxy at stake.

Pilots, singers, and characters from five MACROSS series (MACROSS Plus, MACROSS Zero, MACROSS 7, MACROSS Frontier & MACROSS Delta) take center stage in an all-original story. MACROSS -Shooting Insight- features fan-favorite songs from across the MACROSS series! Use the power of songs to gain an advantage in battle! Sync with singers while playing scenes to activate a variety of buffs and debuffs, such as increased firepower, increased maneuverability, reduced enemy fire rate, and more.

Experience a multi-dimensional shooter featuring pilots and singers who have reunited across time! Play as pilots from different time periods and progress through stages consisting of multiple scenes, with each scene featuring different gameplay types that take advantage of the different states of each pilot's Valkyrie. The scenes include multiple gameplay styles, such as horizontal scrolling shooting, vertical scrolling shooting, and 360-degree scrolling shooting.
