The gods created man, and man created stories.

The primeval creator Marda brought forth the land of Mardias. In the past, a mighty battle shook this land when Elore, the king of the gods, fought against three evil gods: Death, Saruin, and Schirach.

After a long and grueling battle, Death and Schirach were sealed and rendered powerless, and the last god, Saruin, was also captured with the help of the power of the soapstones and the noble sacrifice of the hero Mirsa.

Now 1,000 years have passed since that gigantic battle. The Fatestones lie scattered throughout the world, and the evil gods have risen again. Eight heroes embark on their own journeys, as if guided by fate. What tales will these adventurers weave across the vast tapestry of Mardias? Only you can decide!

The original Romancing SaGa - Minstrel Song - featured many of the SaGa series' signature elements, such as the Glimmer and Combo mechanics, and was considered the epitome of the series when it was first released. The free-form scenario system that lets you create your own story remains at the heart of the game, allowing you to choose one of eight protagonists with completely different origins and backstories, then embark on a unique journey. This remastered edition has evolved in every way, with upgraded HD graphics and numerous improvements to enhance gameplay. And for the first time in the series' history, the game will be fully playable in French, German, Italian and Spanish. This makes it highly recommended for fans of the original and newcomers to the SaGa series alike.

In the Underworld known as Felicidad, people and monsters live in harmony. Here, farmers who raise and command monsters are known as Farmagia. Thanks to the Farmagia, the Magus Diluculum, and the Magus's generals known as the Oración Seis, the society of Felicidad has prospered... until the fateful day the Magus dies. That's when Glaza, one of the Oración generals, takes the opportunity to seize power for himself.

As Glaza and his army descend on the town of Centvelt, a resident Farmagia named Ten attempts to hold them off. Though he fails at first, Ten inspires others to stand up to the despot. With the aid of an Oración general defecting against Glaza’s mad quest for power, Ten and his friends must work together with their monsters to prevent the further subjugation of Felicidad.

• Command Your Monster Horde in Battle - Fight your way through the dangerous lands of Felicidad, culminating in huge boss battles. Your weapons are the monsters you grow on your farm. Command your creature army and take down your foes!

• Monster Farming & Ranching - Increase the size of your army by harvesting new monsters on your farm, then train them on your ranch to increase their strength, and research new abilities for use in battle

• An Iconic Manga Artist’s Touch - Hiro Mashima’s creative genius brings life to Felicidad with unique character and monster designs, endowing Farmagia with his unmistakable style

• Friends with Benefits - Befriend the Elemental Spirits living across the world of Felicidad and increase your relationship bonds to unlock new ultimate monsters and transformations, adding new strength to your fight against Glaza

Japan's capital, Tokyo.

The mysterious man, Phantom, has been operating in the shadows in order to regain his immense powers, which have been sealed.

He granted a weapon called FA (Fu-mension Artifact) to young talented individuals, and enticed them into battle by promising them to grant their wish if they win in battle.

This is because the clash between the FAs will generate a distortion in space and time, creating an opening that leads to an alternate world. This opening will eventually unseal his powers.

Waka, the young daughter from the Kumon family belonging to a clan of exorcists rebelling against Phantom, and Mikoto, who offered cooperation, tried to stop this conspiracy, but lost him just before defeating him. In addition, Waka's younger sister Nagi has been kidnapped by Phantom.

Itsuki, who yearns to become the hero of Justice, and Yuzuha, a ninja who once managed to escape Phantom's seduction, also joins the fight, and the 4 girls set out on a search mission to track down Phantom and save Nagi.
