The Philips Hue Play Gradient Lightstrip offers a completely new functionality to your connected lighting system, since this light strip can project multiple colors simultaneously. This allows one single Lightstrip to fill the entire room with light that flawlessly mimics the entertainment you are watching on screen. The lightstrip is very easy to install and comes in 3 different lengths, specifically made for TVs that are of three different sizes: 55”, 65”, and 75”. Choosing the correct length for your TV allows you to cover the left and the right side, as well as the top of the screen with the same lightstrip. Of course, if you want to achieve the same effect anywhere else in the room, the lightstrip is also attachable to other surfaces of your own choice. The lightstrip is not extendable or cuttable to make it shorter. Currently, to achieve this multicolor function, the lightstrip must be synced to some sort of visual or audio media, through either the Hue Sync software on a computer, or the Philips Hue HDMI sync Box. This means that the Hue Bridge is necessary for full functionality.
