The TerraMaster U12-500 Plus is a powerful 12-bay NAS file server designed for small and medium-sized businesses and advanced users who require extensive storage capacity and high network performance. Its Intel Core i7-1255U processor with 10 cores and 12 threads is paired with 16 GB of DDR5 memory, expandable to 64 GB through two SO-DIMM slots. The 12 drive bays support 3.5-inch HDDs, 2.5-inch HDDs, and SSDs, with a maximum supported capacity of up to 264 TB. Hot-swap support allows drives to be replaced without shutting down the server.

Two 10GbE network ports provide fast access to shared files and improve transfer speeds during large backups and simultaneous multi-user workloads. Link Aggregation is supported for enhanced network performance and redundancy.
