In a hole in the ground lived a hobbit. Not a dirty, dirty, wet hole. It was a Hobbit Hole, and that means comfort.

Bright round doors in summery hues adorn the lush, grassy hillsides of Hobbiton like wildflowers. Behind each doorway, comfortably furnished dens wind their way into the ground: each home to a Hobbit or a family of the Shire’s rosy little folk.

Crowned by the glorious Bag End, Bagshot Row is dotted with a handful of more modest dwellings, with flower garlands and painted door frames. 3 Bagshot Row is where notable residents Samwise Gamgee and his wife Rosie Cotton live after the War of the Ring.
