"Bionic Conch"

FiiO FD11 is the first earplug in the newly developed "Bionic Conch" series. With this series, FiiO pushes the boundaries of what is possible to achieve in terms of sound and appearance in the budget class. High-tech techniques have been used to create a unique flow in the sound, which is also reflected in the appearance. With unique features such as the "C-shaped acoustic flute", FiiO takes the sound to a new level for a truly seamless and unified sound.    

Quality materials 

In the FD11 you'll find a 10mm carbon-based dynamic driver, the same material used in far more expensive models like the FH15. Carbon is ideal to use, it's lighter than aluminium and beryllium and can be stretched nine times as much as steel. The result is a fast and detailed sound that can easily reproduce fast transients with minimal distortion, thanks to the reduced break-up of the diaphragm when in motion.  

High-tech development

The new FD11 utilises second generation asymmetric internal and external magnetic circuit systems. Through the use of element simulation, the FD11's dual magnetic circuit design is optimised to generate a stronger magnetic field compared to typical dynamic drivers that have either a single internal or single external magnetic circuit system. This results in higher magnetic field density, which allows the diaphragm to be driven more powerfully for a more robust sound with better transient response.

The rear of the FD11's dynamic driver features a unique two-layer cavity, which allows the development team to install damping systems in both inner and outer chambers for precise control of airflow. This results in the reduction of distortion and allows the diaphragm to move more freely without breakup. The result is both more detailed treble and especially more robust and resolved bass, where the driver faithfully reproduces low-frequency details with astonishing speed.

"C-shaped Acoustic Flute"

In addition to the new cone-like shape of the FD11, the C-shaped acoustic flute also contributes significantly to improving sound quality - this feature focuses specifically on the bass. As air moves through the FD11's internal parts, the C-shaped acoustic flute helps increase the viscosity of the air and reduces the resonance frequency, improving both mid-bass and sub-bass quality. This means you can now clearly feel the coherence and power behind the sound of drums.
