Clean for Metal cup steel brush provides an extra fine surface finish. The cup steel brush is equipped with copper-coated, corrugated wire for light to moderately demanding cleaning tasks. It is suitable for removing coatings and rust and sanding paint on medium to large surfaces in metal and non-ferrous metals. This cup steel brush is also suitable for roughening, matting, and cleaning formwork boards and cladding. The copper-coated wires on the brush provide protection against corrosion. Brush wires are available in different thicknesses depending on how strong the abrasive effect needs to be. Thicker wires are more aggressive and provide a coarser but faster surface finish, while thinner wires provide finer, smoother surface results. It is intended for use with angle grinders with M14 thread.
