Elegoo PLA-CF Filament - Black
ELEGOO PLA-CF (black) is a carbon-fiber-reinforced PLA designed for robust, dimensionally stable prints. The 1 kg spool of 1.75 mm filament (±0.02 mm) combines PLA’s easy printability with added stiffness and reduced warping from carbon fiber fillers, making it ideal for technical parts, enclosures, brackets and durable prototypes. Finished prints show a matte, tool-like surface and precise fits. Filament is machine-wound, vacuum-packed with a desiccant and ready to print. Note: carbon fiber is abrasive — use a hardened or steel nozzle and moderate print speeds for longest tool life.

ELEGOO PLA-CF (black) pairs PLA’s friendly printing behavior with carbon fiber reinforcement to deliver stronger, stiffer and more dimensionally reliable parts. The carbon fibers reduce thermal shrinkage and improve rigidity, so parts such as functional brackets, housings, jigs and lightweight structural components retain shape and fit better after cooling. Typical settings: nozzle 200–230°C (adjust to your hotend), heated bed 50–70°C, print speeds moderate (30–60 mm/s) to balance finish and fiber handling; retraction tuning reduces stringing. The filament’s 1.75 mm diameter (±0.02 mm) and even winding ensure consistent extrusion; vacuum packaging with a desiccant preserves dryness. Expect a matte, slightly textured finish that sands and drills well for post-processing. Because carbon fibers are abrasive, use a hardened steel or ruby nozzle and check extruder/hotend wear if you print frequently. PLA-CF works on most FDM printers that accept 1.75 mm filament and is an excellent choice when you need lightweight parts with improved stiffness and repeatable dimensions.
