The HSS spiral drill PointTeQ with a hexagonal shank provides fast results when drilling in metal. As it is developed for fast drilling, it generates minimal heat with reduced wear on the drill bit, and the PointTeQ tip ensures consistent sharpness and long durability. The self-centering tip prevents wandering and ensures quick and easy starting, and the black oxide channel quickly removes chips. The hexagonal shank makes the drill very stable with a secure locking between the drill bit and chuck, which strengthens the core of the drill bit and reduces the risk of breakage for bits with a diameter under 6 mm, thereby achieving even greater reliability. This PointTeQ drill is suitable for drilling in alloyed and non-alloyed steel, non-ferrous metals, cast steel, cast iron, and plastic. With HSS spiral drills PointTeQ active cutting is achieved along with perfect centering thanks to its two-part tip design. It's type N (drill point) boron 135° point angle manufactured according to DIN 338 standards. It is compatible with 1/4 inch hexagonal shaft systems for use with impact wrenches , screwdrivers ,and drilling stands.
