The long ground HSS spiral drill bit for drilling deep holes through metal with maximum precision. Its length allows for deep drilling with this long drill head. The drill head's exposed 135-degree two-part self-centering tip combines active cutting with perfect centering without displacement for maximum precision. With the two-part tip, it is also unnecessary to mark pilot holes in advance or pilot bore up to 10 mm. This precision-ground drill head, made of HSS (high-speed steel), provides up to 40% faster drilling and up to 50% lower clamping pressure than standard ground HSS cutting edge drill heads. The long ground HSS spiral drill bit is manufactured according to DIN 340. The drill head is of type N (not angle) with a 135-degree tip and a diameter tolerance of h8. This drill head is designed for drilling deep holes in alloyed and non-alloyed steel, cast steel, cast iron, sintered iron, reduced cast iron, non-ferrous metals and hard plastic. It has a cylindrical shaft system (the shaft has the same diameter as the drill head) and is intended for use in boring stands and screwdrivers
