With SenseKit, which is used together with the charging stations io6 4G, io5, and Smart, several functions of the charging station are activated.

Ratio recommends using this in installations with, for example, heat pumps and solar panels. It also gives you the option to easily upgrade with a second charging station, as they can communicate with each other and share the total amount of energy.

Do you have solar panels?

With SenseKit, you can optimize the use of your surplus production. In PureSolar mode, the charging station charges when sufficient surplus is available in the house. The charging station can start at as low as 1.4 kW.

Protection of your installation

With SenseKit combined with the Ratio charging station, you not only gain solar panel functions but also balancing of the house's electricity. When the charging station is correctly configured, it will automatically limit the charging speed if the house's other consumers need electricity.

Installation

• Must be carried out by an authorized installer.
• This SenseKit must be wired from the panel to the charging stations. We recommend using a CAT 5 SFTP cable. 
• The system must be tested by the installer after installation according to the guide from Ratio.
